In a “closed to the press” briefing by the Department of
Homeland Security with the DHS Faith-based Security and Communications
Committee, including Christian Emergency Network, national security
officials provided information on what faith-based organizations need to
be aware of during this holiday season. Officials fielded pressing
questions posed by national faith leaders concerned about the potential
security risks to the faith community surrounding recent national and
global events.
